Event Parking is responsible for managing guest parking and traffic movement on campus for special events (defined as events that require on-campus parking for ten or more vehicles). Event Parking staff can help your event run smoothly by:
- determining the best location to park
your guests
- reserving VIP spaces
- posting the parking lot
with event-specific signs
- providing student attendants
to sell or issue parking permits
If you are hosting an event that will require parking, regardless of how many vehicles you expect, please use the online form to notify Event Parking staff. In order to effectively manage the limited number of parking spaces on campus and prevent unpleasant surprises for those who are expecting to use them it is essential that we know who is planning to park, and when they're planning to do so.

No Parking at Inoperable Meters/Paystations
Effective 1/1/13 inoperable meters and paystations will be considered a "No Parking" area until the meter or paystation is repaired. Paystations are considered inoperable only if they don't accept any of the four types of payment; coins, bills, credit cards or UCSC ParkCards.
