TAPS Home | Parking Permit Information | Graduate Student Parking Permits Parking Permits for Graduate Students B Parking Permits Eligible Graduate students may purchase a B Parking Permit valid in most close-in parking lots and in the remote parking lots on campus. B permits may be purchased on an Annual basis, valid from July 1 through June 30, by the academic year, valid from September 15 through June 15, or on a Quarterly, Monthly, Weekly or Daily basis. Annual, Academic year and Quarterly B permits can be purchased on-line; Monthly, Weekly and Daily B permits must be purchased from the TAPS Sales Office B Limited Day Permits Graduate students that have a regular schedule of 1, 2, 3, or 4 days per week should consider purchasing an B Limited Day permit; valid in all B and remote parking lots on campus. This permit is offered on an annual or quarterly basis and requires a pre-designated schedule of 1, 2, 3, or 4 days per week. The permit is valid only on the days of the week the purchaser designates and schedule must remain the same for an entire period of purchase. Permits should be returned to the TAPS Sales Office for updating if days needed change. Daily Scratch-Off Packets For graduate students who occasionally need to bring their cars to campus, TAPS offers daily B and R Scratch-off permit packets of 25 or 50. Each individual permit in the packet is valid only on the day chosen for use. The packets, which are individually made, may be ordered on-line but must be picked up at the TAPS Sales Office 2 to 3 days business days later. Because packets are not replaceable if lost (or stolen) they cannot be sent to home addresses or through campus mail. Those enrolled in an official carpool or UCSC vanpool may purchase up to one full packet (50) of scratch-off permits per fiscal year. R Remote Lot Parking Permits Eligible Graduate students may purchase a R Remote Lot parking permit valid in the East and West Remote and the North Perimeter lots on-campus, as available. R Remote permits may be purchased on an Annual basis, valid from July 1 through June 30, by the academic year, valid from September 15 through June 15, or on a Quarterly, Monthly, Weekly or Daily basis. Annual, Academic year and Quarterly R permits can be purchased on-line; Monthly, Weekly and Daily R permits must be purchased from the TAPS Sales Office. Other Permit Options: |
