Shuttle Bus Driver - Limited/Part Time

photo of a campus loop shuttleThis is a part-time/limited position allowing for a somewhat flexible schedule at approximately 17 hours per week. A valid Class B Commercial CA Driver’s License is required. The candidate will drive/operate a variety of passenger vehicles in support of the campus day and night bus service, Disability Van Service, premium transit services, Campus Tours, and Charters on scheduled or non-scheduled routes, on or off campus.

ArcGIS & Parking Asset Management Intern

photo of a person on the UCSC Bike PathThis paid student intern will use the ArcGIS Collector app to document parking assets including signs, curbs, fire/emergency equipment, paystations, etc. The candidate will also document abandoned bikes using the ArcGIS Collector app, tag bikes with a NOTICE, and may assist with moving bikes to impound. Additionally, they will work with TAPS Maintenance to enhance parking lot striping, directional arrows, and other painted parking assets. This is a non-work study position only.

Events Student Corps

The candidate will direct pedestrian and/or vehicular traffic at campus intersections during class breaks and/or major campus events; direct traffic and the parking of vehicles in selected lots and sell or issue parking permits for events. Other duties include posting and removing reserved parking signage, surveying parking lots, working bike events, and performing medium office work.
