2300 Delaware

UCSC parking permits are required to park at 2300 Delaware Avenue in Santa Cruz from 8:00am to 5:00pm, excepting holidays. The majority of spaces in Lot 301 (the south lot closest to Delaware Avenue) require UCSC "A" permits (faculty and staff) or "B" permits (graduate students). There are also motorcycle spaces, and two ten-minute parking spaces.

Departments expecting visitors to 2300 Delaware can provide a departmental guest permit (https://taps.ucsc.edu/parking/departmental-permits.html), or advise the visitor to purchase a temporary permit weekdays at the UCSC Campus Main Entrance Kiosk (7:00am to 1:00pm) or at the TAPS Sales Office (1:00pm to 5:00pm).

Update: December 2018
* Effective January 4, 2019 R and C permits will no longer be valid in Lot 301 due to increases in academic and research staff relocating to 2300 Delaware. On-street parking continues to be free at this location, which is also served by Santa Cruz Metro routes 3, 20, and 22. After January 3, 2019 A, B, N and MC permits will be required to park in Lot 301 during enforcement hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.

For those attending the Coastal Science Campus, paystation parking ($1.50/hour or $9/day) will continue to be offered during enforcement hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m., in Lots 201 and 206. Santa Cruz Metro Route 22 provides direct service between CSC and the main UCSC campus; Route 3 also serves CSC.
