The Loop Route

The Loop runs both directions through campus, from east to west, departing from the main entrance transit stop, and from west to east, departing from the Barn Theater transit stop on High Street. Loop buses do not enter the Quarry Plaza or the Remote parking lots.

Monday through Friday Service Dates and Hours:
Loop buses depart the Main Entrance stop from 7:25am -11:30pm (last departure from ME).
Loop buses depart the Barn Theater stop from 7:25am -11:00pm (last departure from BT).

• Modified service for finals: 3/19/13 – 3/22/13
  
• Intersession - Day Loop service only: 3/25/13 – 3/28/13

• No Loop service on Monday, 5/27/12; TAPS buses operate Metro Shadow service from UCSC to Santa Cruz Metro Center (no Metro service on Memorial Day holiday)

Upper Campus Route

Service Dates and Hours:
The Upper Campus route departs from the East and West Remote parking lots every 15 minutes from 7:40am to 7:55pm at :40, :55, :10, and :25, Monday through Friday.
On Tuesday and Thursday there is an additional departure at 8:10pm.

East and West Night Core

East and West Night Core buses operate seven nights per week, providing service to locations in the campus core and to some college circles.

Saturday and Sunday Service Dates and Hours:
On Saturday and Sunday the Night Cores operate from 6:30pm to 12:00am.

• Saturday schedule on Sunday, 1/20/13 and Sunday, 2/17/13.

Night Owl: Late-night Buses Between Campus and Downtown Santa Cruz

Night Owl service operates every 45 minutes from 11:45pm-1:15am Sunday through Thursday, and every 20 minutes from 11:30pm-2:50am Friday and Saturday nights. The Night Owl picks up and drops off riders on Cathcart at Pacific, adjacent to Old School Shoes and across from the University Town Center. This service is only available to UCSC students and employees. A valid UCSC ID must be presented to board Night Owl buses.

On Sunday through Thursday nights, the last UCSC Night Owl bus returning to campus leaves downtown at 1:15am; the last Night Owl going downtown departs from Science Hill at 12:45am (these trips travel counter-clockwise [east to west] through the campus). On Friday and Saturday nights, the last UCSC Night Owl bus returning to campus leaves downtown at 2:50am and travels east to west (counter-clockwise) through the campus. The last Night Owl going downtown departs from Science Hill at 2:45am and travels west to east (clockwise) through the campus.
