Campus Transit Shuttle Routes and Schedules
During the fall, winter, and spring quarters UCSC Campus Transit operates three on-campus routes: The Loop, Upper Campus, and the Night Upper Campus.
The schedule will be adjusted on breaks, holidays, and final exam days.
Loop Routing
Loop shuttles run both directions through campus.
Counter Clockwise (east to west) Loop buses depart from the main entrance transit stop and travel on Coolidge Drive, Hagar Drive, McLaughlin Drive, and Heller Drive, and return to the main entrance (base of campus) via Empire Grade/High Street.
Clockwise (west to east) Loop buses depart from the Barn Theater transit stop on High Street, travel on High Street/Empire Grade, entering campus through the west gate at Heller Drive, and travel on McLaughlin Drive, and Hagar Drive, and return to the Barn Theater (base of campus) via Coolidge Drive.
Monday through Wednesday:
Loop shuttles depart the Main Entrance and Barn Theater stops every 5-15 minutes from 7:25am - 9:00pm (last departure from main entrance at 8:40pm).
Tuesday/Thursday
Loop shuttles depart the Main Entrance and Barn Theater stops every 5-15 minutes from 7:25am - 9:10pm (last departure from Barn Theater at 8:50pm).
Friday:
Loop shuttles depart the Main Entrance stop every 5-20 minutes from 7:25am - 6:10pm (last departure from main entrance at 5:50pm).
Loop shuttles depart the Barn Theater stop every 5-20 minutes from 7:25am - 6:15pm (last departure from Barn Theater at 5:55pm).

Upper Campus Routing
Upper Campus buses depart from the East and West Remote parking lots and run both directions through campus, Monday through Friday.Counterclockwise (east to west) Upper Campus buses depart from the inside stop of the East Remote parking lot, turn onto Hagar Drive, travel on McLaughlin Drive to Heller Drive, and end (or reverse direction) at the West Remote parking lot.
Clockwise (west to east) Upper Campus buses depart from the inside stop of the West Remote parking lot, turn onto Heller Drive, travel on McLaughlin Drive to Hagar Drive, and end (or reverse direction) at the East Remote parking lot.
Upper Campus shuttles travel between East and West Remote parking lots. These shuttles are supplemental to the Campus Loop Service.

There is no Upper Campus service on weekends. Refer to the Night Upper Campus schedule for weekend campus transit service.
Night Upper Campus Routing
Night Upper Campus shuttles start at the Main Entrance and travel to West Remote.
Monday-Thursday
Every 15 minutes from 8:00pm–12:00am
Friday
Every 15 minutes from 6:15pm–12:00am
Weekends
Every 15-30 minutes from 4:30pm–12:00am
Last trip Sun-Thu will stop at McHenry Library at approx. 12:08 a.m.

Request a free "Safe Ride" from one location on campus to another. Safe Ride operates 7 days per week from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
