Figures for tuition and fees represent currently approved or proposed amounts and may not be final. Actual tuition and fees are subject to change by the University of California as determined to be necessary or appropriate. Final approved tuition and fee levels may differ from the amounts presented.

Employee Bus Pass Program
The Employee Metro Bus Pass is an alternative transportation program that TAPS offers at the lowest cost possible. The employee bus pass fee is $16 per month for those eligible for payroll deduction; $192 annually. The employee bus pass fee provides funding to assist with the cost of billings that TAPS pays to the SCMTD to accommodate UCSC employee transit ridership.

Please Note: Customers are responsible for the cost of their payroll-deducted bus passes until they are returned to TAPS, regardless of expiration date or whether or not the product was used. This includes a break in employment status, leave of absence, or sabbatical.

Complete the online application to obtain a UCSC Employee (Faculty/Staff) Bus Pass. Please scroll to the "Additional Options" section of the staff or faculty parking permit application and click on SCMTD Bus Pass to purchase an employee bus pass.

Graduate students with a summer appointment can purchase an employee bus pass (valid July 1 – September 30) by completing the online application, or by visiting the TAPS Sales Office.

Quarterly Bus Pass
TAPS offers a Quarterly Metro Bus Pass ($102 per quarter) for spouses, domestic partners, and eligible family members of UCSC students or employees who reside on-campus (includes Laureate Court Apartments). Concurrent Enrollment students may also be eligible. Purchase Quarterly Bus Passes at the TAPS Parking Sales Office.
