TAPS summer Session Shuttles and Santa Cruz METRO buses will not operate on Thursday, July 4, 2019. UCSC Shuttles will provide a shadow transit service between the campus and downtown Santa Cruz; see below for schedule. This service will not be available to the general public; riders must show a valid UCSC ID card or identify their UCSC affiliation to board the shuttles.
Shuttles will depart from the Santa Cruz METRO Center downtown and will operate on the 16 Laurel Street East Route.
Please Note:
METRO will be operating the Hwy 17 express on a weekend schedule; no other buses will be running. You can reach downtown via our shadow service, but will need to find other means of transportation from there.
