Update on Changes to North Remote Lot

June 06, 2018

As of September 1, 2018, the North Remote lot has been renamed the North Perimeter Lot and R permits will no longer be valid in the lot. This change is being made to better accommodate parking demand in the Engineering/Science Hill area of the campus. A detailed map of Lot 150 is available.

To offset the changes in Lot 150, TAPS has expanded East Remote Overflow Lot 5 (see map). We anticipate being able to accommodate all R permitted vehicles that may be affected by the Lot 150 changes, in addition to being able to realize a net gain of parking available on campus for anyone with a valid R Permit.

The North Perimeter Lot contains two sections; the lower-third portion of the lot is designated as 150A and the upper two-thirds of the lot as 150B. Parking enforcement hours for both sections of the lot are 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. weekdays (permits are not required on weekends).

A and B permit holders (and N permit holders after 3:30 p.m.) may park in any of the 31 non-reserved spaces in the 150A portion of the lot and also in the 150B portion of the lot.

C permit holders with a Lot 150B designation are allowed to park in any of the 75 spaces within the Lot 150B section, but may not park in the lower portion (150A) of the lot during enforcement hours.

An MC permit must be purchased to park in the motorcycle spaces which are located in the lower (150A) portion of the lot. Remote MC permits are not valid in Lot 150.

One space in section Lot150A is reserved for Medical permit holders.
