Parking Permit Requirements
During Intersession (3/25/19 - 3/30/19)
Parking permit requirements will be enforced in campus parking lots and at parking meters and pay stations, except on the UCSC Holiday that takes place on Friday, March 29, 2019.
When in doubt check the information signs located at each paystation location and at each parking lot entrance.
Please note: The Main Entrance Kiosk and the TAPS Sales Office (parking office) will be closed from Friday, March 29 through Sunday, March 31.
On the UCSC Holiday - Friday, March 29, 2019
In general, permits are not required on the main campus on the UCSC Holiday that will take place on Friday, March 29, 2019, with the following exceptions:
- in lots where permits are required at all times*
- in posted reserved parking spaces
- when parking attendants are present during a special event
* Permits are required at all times in parking lots marked with grey diagonal stripes on the UCSC Parking Map.

Shuttle Service Modifications
Intersession shuttle service operates Monday, 3/25 -Thursday, 3/28 on the following schedules:
Loop Routes - During quarter break the shuttle schedule will be reduced to day Loop bus service only.
East to west Loop buses depart the main entrance bus stop at :40, :00, and :20, from 7:40A to 6:00P (last departure from the main entrance at 5:40P).
West to east Loop buses depart the Barn Theater bus stop at :10, :30, and :50, from 7:50A to 5:50P (last departure from the Barn Theater stop at 5:50P).
Night Shuttle Service does not operate during intersession.
Westside Bike Shuttle
Intersession shuttle service operates Monday, 3/25 -Thursday, 3/28 on the followings schedule:
The Westside (CVS) Bike Shuttle departs CVS at 7:10A, 7:40A, 7:45A, 8:10A, 8:40A, 8:45A, 9:10A, and 9:40A.
UCSC Shuttle Non-Service Dates
UCSC shuttle service does not operate on:
Friday, 3/29
Spring quarter day and night shuttle service resumes on Monday, April 1.
Metro Bus Service Modifications
Santa Cruz Metro buses will run on a non-school-term schedule on the following dates:
March 23 - March 31Highway 17 Express buses will operate throughout the UCSC quarter break. Check the operating schedules at http://scmtd.com.
