Transit Service Modifications
UCSC shuttle service will be modified on Monday, February 18th, President Day Holiday. Day shuttle service will not operate; night routes will operate on the Sunday schedule.
Santa Cruz Metro buses will be operating on the weekend schedule.
Highway 17 Express buses will run on a weekday schedule.
Permit Requirements
The Main Entrance Kiosk and the TAPS Sales Office (parking office) will be closed from Saturday, February 16th through Monday, February 18th.
In general, permits are not required on the main campus during University holidays with the following exceptions:
- in lots where permits are required at all times*
- in posted reserved parking spaces
- when parking attendants are present during a special event
* Permits are required at all times in parking lots marked with grey diagonal stripes on the UCSC Parking Map. You can also check the information signs located at each parking lot entry.
